Get To Know The Coaches & Staff
Mary Wright
Head Coach/Owner
Mary is the Owner and Head Coach at Olympus Gymnastics. She is also in her
7th year as Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Utah where she oversees
the choreography. Mary has coached 10 Olympians, numerous World Championship
athletes and over 60 of her students have received college scholarships in
gymnastics. She was USA Choreographer of the year four times
and USA Elite Coach of the Year one time.
"I've dedicated my life to the growth and personal
development of my athletes through the amazing sport of gymnastics."

Ryan Kirkham
Ryan graduated from the University Of Utah with a degree in Sports Science.
Ryan is the Head Coach on Bars and Vault for Levels 9 & 10.
He is married to Jamie and they have three children, Zachary, Ava and Dylan.
"I enjoy the learning process. I love the competition and I love being able
to make a difference in the lives of the gymnasts I coach."
The person Ryan most admires is his wife, Jamie.
Lisa Orr
Lisa has an Associates Degree in Sports Medicine and is currently in Nursing School.
Lisa was a L-10 gymnast at Olympus and has been coaching with us since 1998.
She is married to Scott and they have two children, Alexis who is a L-8 gymnast
at Olympus and Maddie, who is in the TOPS program.
"I love helping these girls achieve goals and watching them grow through gymnastics."
Lisa most admires every gymnast because of how hard they work in the gym and at school.
Samantha Stevens
Sam started her gymnastics career at Olympus and has been coaching with us since
2001. She is the Class Program Director and is Head Coach of the Compulsory
Team program. Sam is married to Jason Stevens.
"I'm passionate about gymnastics because I love the interaction with kids and I am
passionate about helping them to learn."
Sam admires "Jesus" the most in her life and next to Him, she admires her husband Jason.
Jessica Duke
Jessica competed at the University of Utah on a gymnastics scholarship and her
degree is in Family and Consumer Studies. As an athlete at Olympus, Jessica won
the Level 10 Junion Olympic Nationals and went to become an Elite gymnast.
Jess is our TOPS Development Director and is Assistant Coach for the
Level 9 and Level 10 teams. She is a very accomplished coach at every level
and on every event which makes her such an important part of the Olympus program.
Jimmy Winskowski
Jimmy is currently enrolled at SLCC. He is the Boys Program Director and is
responsible for the training and development of our boys.
"I am passionate about gymnastics because I love to infuse my students with
enthusiasm, not only for gymnastics but for accomplishment in every arena in life.
I love to see my kids succeed."
Jimmy has started a Boys Team program at Olympus and our Boys will have
their first meet at the end of January.
